Khutbah Jum'ah Bahasa Inggris (3) : World Peace

KHUTBAH I

Dear brothers rahimakumullah

One way to increase faith or Iman to Allah SWT is to invite other people to always do good deeds, one of which is by inviting them to collaborate in creating peace between nations or world peace. This is as confirmed in the Qur'an, Allah SWT says:

۞ لَا خَيْرَ فِيْ كَثِيْرٍ مِّنْ نَّجْوٰىهُمْ اِلَّا مَنْ اَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ اَوْ مَعْرُوْفٍ اَوْ اِصْلَاحٍۢ بَيْنَ النَّاسِۗ وَمَنْ يَّفْعَلْ ذٰلِكَ ابْتِغَاۤءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّٰهِ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيْهِ اَجْرًا عَظِيْمًا

(QS An-Nisa’, [4]: 114).

Meanings:

“No good is there in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or that which is right or conciliation between people. And whoever does that seeking means to the approval of Allah – then We are going to give him a great reward”.

Peace between nations is very important to strive for together. Because, without peace, it is difficult to develop and progress. Wars and conflicts often destroy infrastructure, damage economies, and cause suffering and death. All of this is due to the absence of peace.

Meanwhile, in peaceful situations, people have a better chance of getting education, jobs, and accessing health services. Therefore, let us be grateful and maintain the peace that we currently feel in our respective countries.

One way to maintain world peace is by creating unity between nations. With unity, cooperation will be established and mutual assistance will be created, peace will be realized in the lives of every nation. We are here from various countries, the smallest thing to create peace is to respect all existing differences and unite among each other, In the Qur'an Allah SWT says:

وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا (QS Ali ‘Imran [3]: 103).

"And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided”.

بٰرَكَ اللهُ لِيْ وَلَكُمْ فِىْ الْقُرْأٰنِ الْعَظِيْمِ وَقُلْ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّحِمِيْنَ

KHUTBAH II

الْحَمْدُ ِللهِ الَّذِيْ أَرْسَلَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ كآفَّةَ لِلنَّاسِ مُبَشِّرِيْنَ وَمُنْذِرِيْنَ. أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لآإِلٰهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَلاَنَعْبُدُ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ. وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُوْلُ اللهِ لَانَبِيَّ بَعْدَهٗ. اللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى أٰلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِهٖ وَمَنْ تَبِعَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانِ إِلٰى يَوْمُ الدِّيْنِ. (أَمّاَبَعْدُ)

فَياَعِبَادَالله إِتَّقُوْا اللهَ مَآسْتَطَعْتُمْ. وَاعْلَمُوْا أَنَّ اللهَ أَمَرَكُمْ بِأَمْرٍبَدَأَ فِيْهِ بِنَفْسِهٖ وَثَنَّابِمَلآئِكَتِهِ بِقُدْسِهٖ. قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالىٰ فِيْ كِتَابِهِ الْكَرِيْم

أَعُوْذُبِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْم. بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْم. إِنَّ اللهَ وَمَلآئِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّوْنَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَآأَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ أَمَنُوْا صَلُّوْا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِيْمًا. اللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلٰى سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَعَلىٰ أٰلِهٖ وَصَحْبِهٖ أَجْمَعِيْن.

َ. اَللّٰهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُسْلِمِيْنَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ وَالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ اَلْأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَالْأَمْوَاتِ. اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ التُّقٰى وَاْلهُدٰى وَالْعَفْوَ وَاْلغِنٰى، الَلّٰهُمَّ حَوِّلْ حَالَنَا إِلٰى أَحْسَنِ الْحَالِ. لَلّٰهُمَّ يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِيْ عَلَى دِيْنِيْكَ.

اَللّٰهُمَّ ادْفَعْ عَنَّا الْبَلاَءَ وَالْوَبَاءَ وَالْغَلاَءَ وَالْفَحْشَاءَ وَالْمُنْكَرَ وَالْبَغْيَ وَالشَّدَائِدَ وَالْمِحَنَ، مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ، مِنْ بَلَدِنَا وَمِنْ بُلْدَانِ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ، إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ. اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّالْإِسْلَامَا وَالْمُسلِمِيْنَ، اللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْ أُمَّةً سَيّدَنَا مُحَمَّد، اللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْ إِخْوَانَنَا الْمُسلِمِين المُجَاهِدِينَ فِي فِلِسْطِيْن، اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْ إيْمَانَهُمْ وَأَ نْزِلِ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِم وَوَحِّدْ صُفُوفَهُمْ اللَّهُمَّ أَهْلِكِ الْكَفَرَةَ وَ المُشْرِكِينَ، اَللَّهُمَّ انْصُرْ عَلَى المُجَاهِدِينَ أَعْدَائِنَا وَأَعْدَاءَ الدِّيْن بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَآ أَرْحَمَ الرَّحِمِينَ وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ مُحَمَّد وَالْحَمْدُلِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَلَمِيْنَ.

عِباَدَ اللهَ إِنَّ اللهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ بِاْلعَدْلِ وَاْلإِحْسَانِ وَإِيْتآءِ ذِىْ الْقُرْبٰى وَيَنْهَى عَنِ اْلفَحْشآءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ. فَاذْكُرُوْا اللهَ اْلعَظِيْمَ يَذْكُرْكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوْهُ عَلٰى نِعَمِهٖ يَزِدْكُمْ وَلَذِكْرُاللهِ أَكْبٰر
